1.4.5.4.7.A.7.4 Anita Lynn b. 7/1/1956. Neda married Roger Lee Scarbro of Scarbro, WV on 7/8/1972. Neda and Roger have two sons, Michael Ray b. 9/25/1973 and Roger Lee,jr b.3/17/1975.
1.4.5.4.7.A.7.5 Ernest Dale b.7/10/1957. Ernie married Debra Schoolcraft of Minden, WV on 7/3/1982. Ernie and Deb have four children . Two children were Deb's prior to Ernie, they are Vicki and Mike. Ernie later adopted Vicki.
Ernie and Deb have two sons together, Robert Jason b. 1/15/1984, and Jonathan Julian b. 9/27/1987.

Vincent's parents are John Monroe Cox b. 11/9/1855, d. in 1910, and Nancy Jane Vance b.1870, d.1910.
Nora's parents are Archibald A. Vance b. 1869, d. 1920, and Ruth J. Plumley, b.1876, d. 1900.
Vincent's mom, Nancy Jane (Vance) Cox and Nora's dad, Archibald A. Vance are brother and sister. Vincent and Nora are first cousins.
Archibald and Nancy's parents are John D Vance b. 1841, d.1920, and 1.4.6.4.2 Louvina (Luverna) Cales b. 1844, d. 1880.
John's parents are Simon Vance b.1815, d. 1849, and Sarah Ann Meadows b. 12/2/1820, d. 5/8/1868.
Luverna's parents are 1.4.6.4 Archibald J Cales b. 3/30/1821, d. 12/7/1897, and Nancy C Wyant, b. 1822, d. 2/1/1897.
Nancy's father is Peter Wyant.
Archibald's parents are 1.4.6 James Cales b. 1791, d. 1861, and Sarah Dick, b.1791, d. 1881.
James is a son of 1.4 John Cail-Cales b. 1753, d. 6/25/1834, and Isabella Burnside, d. between 1802-1804. (John Cales married Barbara Slusher in 1804, she was b. 1776, d. 1850.)
John is fourth (1.4) child of 1. David Cail / Kail b. around 1717, and d. between 1786-1787, and Parthenia Alberdina , d. 8/18/1801.

A great deal of apreciation from our entire family is due for the many months of work and dedication by Marjorie Ellen Withrow Williams and her family and friends for the 1990 production of her book "The Descendants of David Cail". I have used her system to show the 'crossmember' (the Cox family) to the 'A' frame of the Cales family.

Russell Harold Cox married Arbanna Zane Cales bringing the Cales - Vance - Cox saga full circle!
Her mom (Janet Richmond) gave this pic to our mom (Arbanna) one day on the old 'Victory Bus' that ran from Hinton to Sandstone. We've never known her name. I used to catch school bus with her or her siblings!
